Detecting principle
This is applying the principle of triangle measuring distance such as auto-focus camera. Light-entering position to position sensitive detector is changed in accordance with the distance to detecting object from the sensor. It makes distance judgment by measuring this position and it detects the existence of objects. On the 3-beam system, it uses 2 pair of position detecting element as per figure and it makes the correct distance judgment by averaging each measuring error(-Δχ・+Δχ). |
