What happens to the failure output when the UST voltage is low? (When using battery)
I'm running UST using a battery.
The battery voltage became low and the UST failed output.
How low is the voltage / current before the failure output is triggered?
Do you know the exact value?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide an accurate value.
If the input voltage falls below about 8V from the energized state, it could occur a malfunction output at any time.
The operating voltage range is 10-30V in specification, so please be sure it works within that range.
The current consumption is 150mA or less at 24VDC
The current consumption increases as the input voltage decreases.
Even if the current consumption increases due to the voltage drop and the current is limited, the malfunction output will be out.
However, considering the phenomenon that occurs, if the current is limited, the voltage will eventually drop.
Considering the current, if there is another load connected, the voltage may drop due to the influence. We think it is better to simply think about the input voltage to the sensor.
