Area setting type LiDAR

What is an area setting type LiDAR?

Sensor that outputs when an object is detected within the setting area.
It is used in various fields such as an intrusion detection around machines, load height and protrusion detection, and a obstacles detection for AGVs.

Flexible setting depending on the surrounding environment and usage

Area setting type LiDAR allows you to freely set the area using the application software by connecting to PC. Since it is possible to set the detection area while monitoring the waveform of the object, it is easy to set the area depending on the surrounding environment and application.
After completing the settings, you can disconnect it from PC and use it.
* This is the UST series application screen. The application setting screen differs depending on the series.

3-step output setting

Area setting type LiDAR can set three outputs individually.
It is possible to control the AGV to run slowly or stop it according to the distance.

Multiple area patterns can be registered

Multiple area patterns can be registered in one LiDAR.
It is possible to change to any area pattern by switching the input pattern from the external wiring. For example, the area is changed when the transport trolley approaches the corner or when the size of the workpiece on the transport line changes.

Application example

Area setting type LiDAR is used for detecting obstacles in front of the AGV and detecting intrusions around the devices.

Application example

By scanning downward from the ceiling, it can detect the load collapse or the load height. It can also be used to detect residuals in the buildings other than at the work site.
