Optical data transmission device (Parallel type)

What is a parallel type optical data transmission device?

A data transmission device that uses light as a medium.
The optical data transmission device sends signal to the other, and the receiving side outputs the bit signal.
Bidirectional transmission and reception are possible due to communication using the half-duplex bidirectional transmission method.
It is ideal for exchanging data with mobile objects.

Application example

Since it is a transmission method that uses light as a medium, it is installed in many mobile objects such as automatic guided vehicles.
It also contributes to save wirings in the place where is difficult for cable wirings other than moving objects.
