Display waveforms with URG Benri software

URG Benri is the software acquiring the distance data from the data output type LiDAR, and it can be plotted on X and Y coordinates and displayed as waveform data.

* Only for Windows OS.

URG Benri can be downloaded from various download items on the data output type LiDAR product page. The installer file and manual will be downloaded, so please install according to the manual.

■ When connecting a USB type LiDAR You will need to download and configure a dedicated USB driver. The setting method differs depending on the version of Windows OS. Please refer to the following page for details.
● When using a Windows 7 PC
● When using a Windows 8, 8.1, 10 PC

■ When connecting an Ethernet type LiDAR

It is necessary to set the IP address on the PC side. Please refer to the following page for details.
Connect an Ethernet type LiDAR to your PC

■ Step 1
Select "Serial 1" in the connector item

■ Step 2
Select the COM port in the data source field. At this time, [URG] is displayed on the port to which the LiDAR is connected.
* For Windows 10, [URG] is not displayed because the standard driver of the OS is used. It is displayed by installing the URG driver. How to install URG driver on Windows 10 If you do not see the COM port to which the LiDAR is connected, press the refresh button.

■ Step 3
Press the connect button to display the waveform.

■ Step 1
Select "Ethernet 1" in the connector item

■ Step 2
Enter the sensor IP address and port number in the data source field
* In case of initial setting
IP address: 192.168.0.10
Port number: 10940

■ Step 3
Press the connect button to display the waveform.
